Back in June, I wrote a blog explaining my current diet and how I was trying to be vegetarian. Well, now I am. I have been vegetarian for almost three months now, and I wanted to share how that was going. Firstly, I should say that before becoming a vegetarian, I only really ate seafood, beef, and poultry. I never ate a lot of pork or other things. I decided to stop eating beef in late April, with the goal of eventually being vegetarian. It wasn’t until mid-June when I stopped eating seafood. By this point, I knew that I would be vegetarian before the start of the next school year. In mid-July, I cut out poultry, making me fully vegetarian. I thought that this was a good pace to stop eating meat because it gave me time to find new recipes and start shifting my diet towards meatless meals. Right now, I don’t have any plans to go vegan, but we will see what the future holds. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps some of you in your path to being vegetarian.
